Arctic Salt is located as close as one can get to salt water, it is just 1 meter from the walls of the old storehouse to the water's edge. This is where we extract the wild, crystal clear salt water that is passing through the strait. Every six hours, more than 370 million cubic meters of pure salt water passes by our factory, so we have no shortage of resources!

The most time consuming process of salt making is waiting while the water evaporates. As the water vaporizes, the salt percentage increases, and after some time salt starts to form on the surface. After a while, the salt sinks to the bottom of the pan, and we collect it carefully and dry it. When the salt is dried, it is sorted, weighed and packed before it is shipped out to waiting customers.
